2006

Congratulations to JANA von Lucescu- SchH 2 and her owner Dominic Romeo who attended the EASTERN REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS on the east coast of Canada. They obtained their KorKl.1, SG-1 and 3rd overall in their class which is a great accomplishment.

2005

COLIN MALEMI finishes his last year of competition on a high.... He had 4 more successful trials and earns a new degree of IPO3. He competed at the Regional Championships, National Championships and the World Championships and did a very nice job. Colin finishes 3rd for Canada this year and his score at the Worlds again was counted as part of the team's that gave Canada their highest scoring placement by country to date....15th place in the World. Go CANADA Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Colin is 8 years old now and will retire from active competition at these high levels before an injury occurs. This is a tribute to Colin and many thanks to all of you who have been involved with him by any measure during his career.

Colin Malemi scores a 284 (HIGH OBEDIENCE with a 97-V, and 2nd place overall) at the Eastern Regional Championship and qualifies for the Canadian Nationals and for the 1st part of Team Canada.

COLIN MALEMI ends up with a 4th place finish for the Country (with a 97-v score in Tracking) and qualifies for Team Canada. We will be going to Haguenau, France in October to represent Canada at the WUSV World Championships.

IRA von Lucescu earns her SchH1 with another HIGH SchH1 at the Windsor Schutzhund Club under judge MIKE HAMILTON of the USA. IRA did a super job giving me back exactly how much I put into her training. I love an honest dog and will continue with her training once she has had her puppies this winter...... Check her page for updated pictures of her during her obedience routine. IRA is a DASCH/COLIN daughter and a HONEST/ARNIE grandaughter.

Congratulations to Constable Paul Csanyi with KRUZ von Lucescu who completed training and certified for General Purpose Police. This team will now start working the street together. Good Luck. KRUZ is a HONEST/COLIN son....

Congratulations to PROTO von Lucescu who completed his training and is now certified as a General Purpose Police Dog for the City of St. John, N.B. Good luck with this wonderful dog... PROTO is a BELLA/CAR son.

Congratulations to Maryann Holland with QUAKE von Lucescu. This team went through and finished their training for Wildlife Poaching Prevention, obedience and Personal Protection. Quake will be working now on the East Coast of Canada doing a wonderful job. Best of luck with this dog.... QUAKE is DASCH/COLIN son and a HONEST/ARNIE grandson...

Congratulations to the Halton Regional POLICE with NARCO von Lucescu who has completed his very long training course and will now certify as GENERAL PURPOSE POLICE. NARCO is a HONEST/CAR son... Best of luck you guys...

Congratulations to QUINCY von Lucescu who completed his training for the City of Windsor Police under trainer Rick Fackrell and has now started to work the street. Best of Luck with this dog. QUINCY is a DASCH/COLIN son and HONEST/ARNIE grandson.

Congratulations to SUE PETIT of New York State. Sue is a top level competitor for A.K.C. competitive work. Sue owns an HONEST/COLIN son, whose name is KENO von Lucescu. She received his CD and CDX titles this year with top scores. GO SUE GO and best of wishes with him next year...

Congratulations to the owners of JANA von Lucescu who earned her SchH1 in GERMANY with the trainers from the very excellent kennel "von ARLETT". Jana will remain in Germany until she finishes her SchH2 and BREED SURVEY, then be bred and brought back to Canada. Jana is a BELLA/COLIN daughter... Best Wishes with this wonderful young female.

Congratulations to Phillip Duchscherer from Prince George, B.C. who owns GILDO von Lucescu. GILDO received his SchH1 with a 97 in tracking, another V-score for a von Lucescu dog. Congratulations with this beautiful dog and on your trials next year. GILDO is a DASCH/COLIN son and a HONEST/ARNIE grandson.......

Phillip has also bought another puppy from the BELLA/QUAZAR litter to compete with and I wish him all the best with "MAC"

Congratulations to George Mills of the Saugeen Sch Club of Ontario with House of G's DRAGO who receives his SchH3 this year. George gained SchH1, SchH2 and SchH3 all this year with this dog. DRAGO is a son of COLIN....

*5th place finish for the year at the G.S.S.C.C. GERMAN SHEPHERD CHAMPIONSHIPS and World Team Qualifier-July 29, 2004 at the Fundy Regional Schutzhund Club in St. John, New Brunswick (Total Score-270)

*TEAM CANADA competitor at the WUSV WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Eindhoven, The Netherlands October 7, 2004 finishing 2nd for Canada with a high tracking score of 99 points and a high obedience score of 91 points for the country....

Special thanks to our great coach DOUG DEACON for a fantastic job taking care of all of us while in the Netherlands... Also for all the Canadians that came to support us for the competition.

To the people of the Netherlands- Conny, Andre, Michelle and Michael van der Linden and also to Jasper Schoenmakers & Gabrielle van der Sangen. Your thoughtfulness and warmth was certainly appreciated by the entire team. I think there were special friendships made here.

Renee with DOUG DEACON after scoring 99 points in Tracking at the World Championships, Doug is a Canadian and SV Judge and the team was fortunate enough to have him as our Team Captain for 2004... Thanks again Doug.

Congratulations on an excellent job. Constable Shane Baker and P.D.D. ALLEY of the Thunder Bay Police Force found their largest find in their career. While doing a search at a bus station, ALLEY indicated on two suitcases, which were inspected and found inside were double vacuum sealed containers holding approximately 40 lbs of marijuana, estimated street value of $500,000.00. EXCELLENT JOB guys.

Congratulations to Constable Lisa Scott and P.S.D. GAGE and to Constable Rick Lostracco and P.S.D. HONOUR for successfully gaining their PD2 and PD2X titles at the U.S.P.C.A. trials. Rick and HONOUR coming in first place in both levels....

Congratulations to Constable Rick Lostracco and P.S.D. HONOR for their endless arrests since starting the street in Jan. 2003. The team has had endless success and have made many great arrests in such a short time. Keep up the great work and dedication Rick!!!
