"STRAUSS von LUCESCU" got 1st PLACE for all of CANADA with HIGHEST SCORING SchH3 in 2009. He received a 96.98.97=291 out of 300. He received another "V" score (which means "excellent").
Strauss also finished 5th overall for the country in 2009.ARIO REGIONAL CHAMPION 2009- (96-98-97=291-V-rated)
Also winner of the OPTIMAL TROPHY- Highest achievement by a German Shepherd Dog in both Performance and Show at the 2009 Regional Championships. V-rated in Performance and Show

Xbox is a young male out of IRA and CAR. He is an amazing working dog with excellent drives, courage and nerves.
I had only been handling him for 4 months went to try to get his title for SchH1. Xbox gave me exactly what I expected from him and more.
We received a 99 (V) score in tracking and also received HIGH TRACKING for the trial.
We also received a 97 (V) score in Protection which was very exciting.
In obedience we made a couple of mistakes which gives me something to work on for the next trial with him. I am very happy with this outcome. I plan to continue training with him this year and go for more titles next year. I look forward to some good competition with him in the future.
Xbox got his SchH2 at 2 years of age and has done really well. We also won HIGH IN PROTECTION and HIGH SchH2. I couldn't be happier with this dog. He is giving me 100% in his work and it turning into a very special dog.

HIGH IN TRIAL
Russo is an excellent daughter of COLIN MALEMI and ANDYSA zo Striebornej zatoky.
She shows great character and drives with a remarkable personality. Her movement is excellent and she has very nice conformation.
She's the kind of dog that makes you laugh and you can have alot of fun with during training. Her will to please us is very high along with great natural instincts and drives. She is alot of fun to train and is highly social and loves life. She also loves to be a mom and is a terrific mom to her pups where she enjoys the company and plays with her pups right until the time they leave at 8-9 weeks.
Unfortunately I don 't have as much time as I would like to have to spend on her but will train and compete with her in the sport of Schutzhund. We did her BH (temperament test) in Quebec under Canadian judge Rudy Meitzner and she did excellent, passed very easily and we will start her towards her titles soon.
Her SchH1 trial was held here at Niagara Hundesport with Belgian Judge Rinus Bastiaansen from Belgium. The field was very large and she did very well, coming 2 place in SchH1. First place went to her half brother (Quazar von Lucescu). She also received HIGH OBEDIENCE at this trial and we are very happy with her results.
We then tried her at the Ontario Regional Championships where things were going very well in obedience and tracking putting her far ahead of the others. During protection, she got badly stepped on and injured which ended her work so she was unsuccessful.
In 2009, we continued with her and did her breed survey at the Ontario Regional Championships. Here she gained KKL1(a) which is the highest rating for Breeding under SV Judge Albrecht Worner. She received a "very capable" and "very loadable" in her protection work and we are pleased that her previous trial did not stop her from working again. She also gained a "V" rating in Show which is also a pleasant surprise.
We then went for her SchH2 title in N.Y state for SchH USA. She did really well, gaining HIGH SCHH2 and also got HIGH OBEDIENCE for the trail. She was successful under USA Judge NIKKI BANFIELD.
Russo has received her SchH3 with 2 V scores (96) in tracking and obedience under SV-USA Judge Johannes Grewe. She did a spectacular job even though she was in heat. She finished the trial with HIGH OBEDIENCE, HIGH TRACKING, HIGH PROTECTION, SchH3-1st Place and HIGH IN TRIAL.
Throughout her working career- Russo always gave us 100% effort and did an excellent job, she is dog I should have gone to the National level with but because I breed my females and they have so much down time, she will retire from active work now and relax and join us in the house along with helping us with our K911 program. She will continue to have puppies for a couple more years before she fully retires. In her working career when she recieved her 3 titles, only one dog beat her out and that was her half brother "Quazar von Lucescu". She is a very special dog to us and has been a joy to work. We are now raising a couple of her daughters for our breeding program and I hope they are as good as she was.

YEVHEN is an excellent young male that we have chosen to be our next main stud dog for our breeding program. He was bred by Gabi Hoffman and Lance Collins of “ vom Bergblick Kennels” and I can’t thank them enough for giving us this exceptional boy… Yevhen has all the traits we are looking for to breed with our wonderful females.
Yevhen has got super strong nerves and top level potential. His temperament is super steady and is confident in any environment. His desire to please me in his work is ever lasting and his character and personality make him a top dog to live with and also compete with . He is a large male, with strong pigment and strong bone. Both his parents are from Germany, his father is from the well- known
“vom Cap Arkona kennel” and he was a member of TEAM CANADA 2010 with Lance handling him-which was held in Spain.
His vet work is complete showing excellent results with really deep, strong images of his hips and solid elbows. He received his BH title at a young age of 15 months and did very well with a free attitude on the field. I look forward to spending much more time working Yevhen and competing with him in the years to come.

HALLE is our sable female bred by Rinus Bastiaansen of Belgium. I thank Rinus very much for this special girl to add to our breeding program. Halle is a large female with very strong bone and a very strong head. Her temperament is flawless and she is super stable with people and dogs of any kind. Her work ability is very good and she should do very well with competition. She comes from some of the best lines in Belgium and Germany. She has her BH (temperament / social ability)test and her AD (endurance)test along with an SG rating in the show (best rating she can get at this time). Her training is going extremely well now and I look forward to competing with her in 2012…
Halle has had her first litter and the puppies are super… They are very good looking pups, with great temperaments and willing drives for their age… We are having a lot of fun raising a couple of them to see how they mature…

BABETTE is a large solid black female with strong bone and excellent pigment. She is a combination working line /show line female that takes great qualities from both sides. She is a daughter to our IRA von Lucescu and STRAUSS von Lucescu. A friend of ours – Lucie Desrochers raised Babette and we recently got her back. We have lived with her, worked her, vet checked her and tested her temperament, guide ability and work ability and are really lucky to have her in our breeding program. We thank Lucy for doing such a wonderful job raising her. Babette will have a litter of pups this winter so we can see how she likes being a mom and then next year we intend to concentrate on her titles and show ratings. Babette is a 4th generation dog from our breeding program so we know her lines well and look forward to many years of enjoyment with her.

FAUNA is a med –large size female that is a splitting image of her mom. She is a working line and show line combination with the famous show line dog “Ulk v Arlett” among them. Her mother is RUSSO von Lucescu and her father is STRAUSS von Lucescu. We raised 5 females and picked Fauna out of all of them because of her overall qualities. Her character makes her a lot of fun to be around and she is a bit of a clown in her free time. She has great work ability- combined with an excellent temperament which should bring lots of fun in the sport. Her hips and elbows are excellent and certified. Fauna already has her BH, AD and show rating so she is well on her way to starting a career in the sport.
We plan on breeding her late in 2012 to our young male Yevhen which should be an excellent combination to produce an even better next generation.

HEMI is a gorgeous young female out of LESLEY von Nordsee Sturm (from Holland) and XBOX von Lucescu. She is a show line and working line cross and has some great lines on both sides. She has a strong character but is stable in new places and very social with other animals. She is a large female with strong bone and a very strong head. She is already SG rated and has her AD test completed. Her vet clearance came back super and has certified hips/elbows showing really strong joints. Hemi is a 5th generation female from our breeding lines where we have owned, handled and trained all these dogs before her so we know her lines and what they produce extremely well. She will eventually be bred to our new male Yevhen and we expect top quality dogs with excellent looks, temperament and work ability.

JURY is a very young female out of RUSSO von Lucescu and STRAUSS von Lucescu. She is a large solid black female with large bone, a longer coat and awesome character. She is a full sister to FAUNA but from a different litter. Her mother RUSSO has had 45 puppies(4 litters) so far and only 2 of them were of this special coat…. We are so HAPPY we kept her as she has turned into another great dog out of Russo. She has a clown character and really enjoys life- she is ALWAYS happy. Her drives are excellent and her temperament is second to none. Her vet checks went extremely well and shows excellent hips/elbows. She is our youngest female in the program and we plan to spend more time on her this year to hopefully start her career. She will not be bred until 2013 so check back if you are interested in her progress. Craig is handling her and he looks forward to playing with her in the sport.
